जहाँ तक मुझे याद है, हिंदी में कुल मिला कर मात्र ६ एस्ट्रिक्स प्रकाशित हुए थे| मेरा परिचय एस्ट्रिक्स से हिंदी के ही माध्यम से हुआ है| सबसे पहली हिंदी एस्ट्रिक्स थी, "एस्ट्रिक्स ओलिंपिक खेलों में", जिसने मुझे इस पात्र का आजीवन दीवाना बना दिया| मुझे याद है कोई अगस्त या सितम्बर १९८२ की बात है, एक दुकान पर इंद्रजाल और कुछ अमर चित्र कथा खरीद रहा था| पास में कुछ इंगलिश एस्ट्रिक्स भी थी, जिनकी कीमत कोई ५० रूपये और साथ में ही हिंदी ५ रूपये मात्र की| उठा कर देखा, कागज साधारण लेकिन कॉमिक मजेदार लगी| खरीद कर घर लाया, कितनी बार पढ़ा होऊंगा, कह नहीं सकता| फिर शुरू हो गयी हर अगले अंकों की तलाश|
अनुराग भाई के पास उपलब्ध पांच में से तीन पहले ही पोस्ट कर चूका हूँ | आज प्रस्तुत है एक और विरल हिंदी एस्ट्रिक्स: "एस्ट्रिक्स और ज्योतिषी"| संवादों का अनुवाद प्रसंसनीय है|

यह कहानी है एक ऐसे प्रपंची की जो एक ज्योतिषी (भविष्यवक्ता) का ढोंग कर सीघे-साधे गालवासियों से खूब पैसा बनाता है| कुछ समय तक "बांटो और राज करो" नीति सफल होती है| लेकिन अपनी ही करणी का फल पहले से भी बुरी तरह भुगतता है, और जहाँ एस्ट्रिक्स महाशय हों - कुछ और भी हो सकता था क्या? बोया पेड़ बबूल का , आम कहाँ से खाय|

"एस्ट्रिक्स ओलिंपिक खेलों में", जिसने मुझे इस पात्र का आजीवन दीवाना बना दिया ये बात जितनी आपके लिए सच है उतनी मेरे लिए भी. हिंदी की एस्ट्रिक्स में मुझे अच्छे से याद है की ओलिंपिक, कराहे का रहस्य, बड़ी लड़ाई, क्लेओपेत्रा पढ़ी जो गोवेरसंस ने प्रकाशित की पर प्रस्तुत कॉमिक याद नहीं आ रही की हिंदी में पढ़ी या नहीं. यहाँ सिडनी आकर लाइब्ररी में एस्ट्रिक्स का तमाम संग्रह पढने को मिला और कहना न होगा की सब एक से बढ़कर एक है. काश सभी का हिंदी में अनुवाद हो जाये. मैंने देखा की एस्ट्रिक्स , टिनटिन जैसी कॉमिक्स का काफी भाषाओ में अनुवाद हुआ है जैसे की चायनीज , जापानी, कोरियन और यहाँ की लाइब्ररी में उपलब्ध भी है. अफ़सोस हिंदी में यह काम क्यों नहीं हुआ. भाषा के प्रचार प्रसार में यह एक उपयोगी कदम हो सकता है अगर हम कॉमिक्स का सहारा ले.

Very few were printed in Russian, I've almost all. I can read, write & speak Russian. Can say, the translation is good in Russian also.
Following Tintin are avilable in Hindi since 2010 at rs 195 (max retail price):

Don't know quality of translation, however I'll pick all in next India visit, i.e. very soon.
Pls, check at ebay India. I saw a proposal for these 8 Tintin with some discount one month ago.

english asterix were priced at rs 20 each. I have one with me (Cauldron).
Thanks for the comic. I remember I went almost crazy when I got any Tintin or Asterix. In fact I remember that I had asked my parents to gift me these books on my birthdays or any other occasion when I merited a gift. I'd love to see Tintin in Hindi. I've never come across one and didn't even know they existed.

Hoping someone for me or Anurag could get 1st Hindi Asterix also. However 5th available with him will come also.

Thanks a lot for this wonderful Asterix Comics in Hindi. Its so good to read these comics in Hindi. I was a big fan of Asterix in my childhood days. I remember reading only one Astrix Comic in Hindi "Astrix aur Kadhaahe Ka Rahasya". I haven't seen any Tintin Comic in Hindi yet. It would be beautiful to see that.

I found 3 scanned Hindi Asterix here on this blog, but alas the quality is not always good enough to print the pages. For example I created an album of Asterix and Cleopatra using MsPublisher, but many pages have fuzzy parts. I would be nice to have all 6 Asterix in Hindi in good quality scans and reprint them again for fans. @HansI can improve those scans upto this quality or little better. Rescanning or getting better copy for scanning is almost not possible.

@PBCHi PBC. In general the scans are not bad to print, but some pages are not scanned complete and mis for example just a tiny part (e.g. half a cm of the left or right side. See picture 037 of Asterix Aur Badi Larai). Also some pages have fuzzy spots like picture 047 of Asterix aur Klyopetraa. Also the left part of the cover page is missing. Look at the complete cover here: Asterix aur Klyopetraa (click on the link of the albums at this page).
ReplyDeleteAs you see I collect Asterix in all known translations. Ofcourse I do not have all the albums on my website (which I have together with my fellow collector HJH). Most scans are supplied by other collectors.
