The Phantom - Harvey Hits + Harvey Comics Hits - 11 Comics Collection

122 comics published between Sep 1957 and Nov 1967, each running for 36 pages. A variety of characters were included besides the Phantom (e.g. Little Lulu, Casper and Spooky, Sad Sack, etc.), but each issue would feature one major character.

    There were two different Harvey Comics titles which showcased different features in each issue. HARVEY COMIC HITS #51 (Dec. 1951) and #56 (Apr. 1952) are from the earlier of the two series. A different series, HARVEY HITS, began with #1 in Sept. 1957. Numbers 1, 6, 12, 15, 22, 26, 36, 44 and 48 are from the later series. Not that the cover dates particularly matter that much, since all the interior stories are reprinted (in no particular sequence) from various newspaper strip continuities, but just to clarify.

    Correction -- Harvey Hits No. 22 of was not a Phantom issue. The link you have to "Harvey-Hits-022-1958-The-Phantom.cbr" is actually just a duplicate file of Harvey Hits No. 6 (Feb 1958). There were 2 issues in the Harvey Comics Hits series from 1951-52 (those are No. 51 & No. 56), and 8 issues in the Harvey Hits series from 1957-61 (numbers 1, 6, 12, 15, 26, 36, 44, and 48) for a total of 10 Harvey Comics Phantom issues altogether, so they're all there. Gold Key Comics then took over the Phantom comic license in the U.S. with a new (non-reprint) No. 1 issue dated Nov.1962. Thanks so much for uploading, PBR! I have wanted to read those Harvey issues for a long time.
