  1. I loved the Grampa in the stories, which used to appear in the Indrajal Comics.

  2. As I've said b4, there is no place for diversity (as far as a comics are concerned) like this blog...! I could lay hands on some comics that I did not even dream, existed.

Kudos once again to Prabhat and all contributors (Misraji, Venkit, Ajnaabi etc.)

  6. Timpa was a revelation. I enjoyed every bit. This series is a lot like Tintin, with an Indian flavor. Grandpa is a combination of Capt. Haddock and Calculus.
Does anyone have old editions of this magazine called 'Target'?

  7. Hey Prabhat, That's just great work. I will try to make my blog as good as i can and in the process, we can see the childhood memories back. Thanks.

BTW: There is one problem, i can not find my blog in google. I have read and done whatever written in the webmaster tool. But in vain. What can be the issue?

  10. JhargramDevil: Welcome! Like you plan way start. Simpy awesome.

I'm not strong about google search. If the search engine option (in setting: basic) is on, I think, soon it will be.

Hope some other friend, who know more about it, will come forward to help. If you would have any new information, pls let me know. Earlier I never took this question seriously.

  11. Thanks for giving this wonderful opportunity to enjoy 3 full blown adventures of Timpa, Prabhat and Ajnaabi. Have slight recollection of seeing some short adventures of him in IJC, but never knew they were printed in complete editions, and that too with Comics Code Authority attestation.

    Gonna love reading it. :)

  12. Hi, thanks a lot for these rareties. :)

Just a minor correction: the first two issues (The Redhooded Gang and Operation Rescue) were drawn by cartoonist Sarbajit Sen. Please correct on the main entry.

  13. @Anon: OK. Thanks! I'll correct.

  19. Oh I had a bunch of Timpa comics growing up and I absolutely loved Legacy Of The Gods, especially the scenes at Eden Gardens. Such great memories of summer holidays and cool Doordarshan shows and cricket
