  1. Are these the comic versions of the Enid Blyton series?

  2. Venkit: This comics is based on book (1982) The Famous Five and the Golden Galleon by CLAUDE VOILER (she is best known for her continuation of Enid Blyton's The Famous Five series of children's adventure novels).

A wrecked yacht, The Golden Galleon, is washed up near Kirrin Island, with a cargo of gold ingots. The Famous Five discover it was used by some bank robbers for their get-away, and when the gold vanishes overnight the Five embark on an exciting treasure hunt. Couple of tiny scratches on cover. ……

In these Hindi comics (which were published by Goversons comics in ~1982~1984) names were given as Indian, but from pictures it’s clear that all events are not happening in India & outlook of heroes are not Indian.

  4. Grouchy's Comics: Welcome Buddy! In Post #17 (http://bookscomics.blogspot.com/2008/05/017enid-blytons-famous-five.html) there are 5 comics (Famous five) available. Whenever a new comic will be available, I’ll post.

About Mandrake will like to say, Bala ji has done already half job. I’m interested to see all in his blog, but he’s not in contact. I, Ajay & Anurag were ready to forward him all rest Mandrake IJC/DC scans, some forwarded, but he ….. Finally I started posting. I think if not Bala ji, and then Sagnik should take responsiblity about Mandrake stripst. He has good collection & knowledge about background information. I’m ready to help.

If find both are not interested, then may be think about it. At present I’m interested in others (like IJC, ACK, Zorro, Goversons, some books collection etc). If I’ll drop my plans, we’ll able to collect these not earlier than 10years. With this speed of posting already planned comics, I’ll able to post in next 1-3 years. Who knows tomorrow I’ll loose interest too, but before it wish to post all (or almost all) IJC, ACK & Goversons comics etc.
