Summary: Stuck with the problem of relocating giant dinosaurs back to Mongo (see D2-141 Dinosaurs), Egon suggests that Dr Zarkov uses a matter transmitter to teleport the animals back to their natural habitat.

With no such machine available in their time, Flash and Egon travel to the 22nd century to obtain one and end up in a society plagued by unbridled pollution, devoid of human population and completely devoted to the teachings of an unexpected messiah...

Summary: Returning to Earth with Egon (see D2-140 Forest Primeval), Flash and Dale try to relax after their many adventures on Mongo whilst Dr Zarkov sets about trying to pinpoint the working principle behind Egon’s time-hopper.

Unbeknown to everybody, some eggs that have accidentally ended up in the time-hopper during the Mongo trip begin to hatch and reveal some cute little visitors – that soon mutate into behemoths...

Not getting any bearings on his holograph-DNA transmitter after arriving on Earth, Egon realises that something is terribly wrong and sets out on a combined temporal and spatial rescue expedition that is fraught with dangers...

Deciding to seek refuge in the treetop kingdom of Arboria, the trio must still pass through some very hostile territory – as a sense that they are in fact re-enacting a distant past is growing stronger and stronger...

Summary: Re-enacting their first adventures on Mongo after a freak accident in Dr Zarkov’s Earth laboratory (see D2-135 The Origin of Flash Gordon), Flash and Dale try to evade Ming's soldiers by using the underground caverns in the company of a band of freedom fighters.

As the long and perilous journey gets underway, dissent brews within the group as one of the freedom fighters loses his brother in a vicious fight with a cave monster and blames the tragedy on the ‘Earthlings’...

Surviving the skirmish at the price of a broken leg, Flash sends Dale down to the ski resort to summon help. But with darkness setting in and a meteor shower afflicting the area, this is only the beginning of Flash’ troubles...

Initially suspecting Ming of fomenting unrest, Flash and Barin are forced to think again as even Ming’s forces come under attack from previous allies. Then, as he heads to the loyal Hawkmen for consultations, Flash suddenly discovers a vital clue to the mystery in the form of a speeding light...

Summary: Spending some rare quality time with Dale in a park on Earth after returning from his time travels (see D2-129 Return to Atlantis), Flash is visited by Egon, the chronic time traveller from the future (see for example D2-058 The Hapless Alien), who has an urgent hologram recording to deliver from Princess Thalia of the Mystic Isles of Mongo (see D2-111 Slaves).

Learning that Thalia’s people has become enslaved, Flash saves literally no time in reaching Mongo with Egon’s time-hopper, but ends up battling against impossible odds to reach the remote island in an adventure with a rich helping of duplicity and betrayal...
